Amethyst Labrador Retrievers is a small, hobby kennel dedicated to the preservation of the English style conformation with the loveable, sweet and gentle temperament that is the hallmark of the breed. As an ethical breeder all dogs and bitches must pass OFA (Orthopedic Foundation for Animals) for hips and elbows, eyes CERFed and have Optigen testing before being considered for breeding. Amethyst Labs are shown in AKC conformation shows…and we have Delta Certified Therapy dogs. Amethyst puppies are born in a whelping box at the foot of my bed. They are raised in my home with lots of love and socialization. At 8 weeks of age they will be ready to go to their forever families, having had their 1st shots. Please read the Amethyst Sales Contract for guarantees on puppies. All Amethyst puppies are sold with a Limited AKC registration. Occasionally a puppy is sold to a show home.
